I was just amazed, great location, good staff.

Here we had a very nice day including a boat trip in beautiful weather.

Very nice view, but then it's over. Thanks to the hot-rinsed beer mugs (60 °) due to the Corona, the beer is temperature-friendly, let's say stomach-friendly. When I asked to rinse the glass with cold water before tapping, there was no response at all and my question whether I should have the warm beer now was answered indifferently with yes. I think it's great to follow corona rules, but wiping the table every now and then would be nice too. Conclusion: we don't have to go there anymore, there are enough other localities that deliver us well-chilled beer for our money. The food is just no more or less.

Very busy on Saturday, slow service

The first general impression was very clean, there were enough tables available, many in the shade. The menu offers the usual dishes for a snack. The food was very tasty compared to similar restaurants. The prices are not cheap, but normal for the location on the lake. The staff seemed a bit unsafe, but were always friendly. Dealing with corona-related data collection should be reconsidered. At the checkout there is a piece of paper with a ballpoint pen on which you have to enter your contact details. Unfortunately, I was also able to read the contact details of the five previous customers. A disaster when it comes to data protection, but unfortunately others have solved that better. Hence a star deduction.

Unfortunately, not all dishes were served. The salad is missing in the dishes with schnitzel, but it is not excellent as a side dish. You should change that, is actually standard. Otherwise great atmosphere at the lake, with nice service.

Good beer

* Apart from the name, hardly anything has changed. The tasty currywurst and fresh fries are always eaten here. In addition, cool Waldschlösschen malt beer = a pleasure ... In addition, very clean toilet facilities.

Nice personel. Very helpful and friendly. However, our canoe could have been in better shape.

Very nice clean, enough tables, chairs, benches, fries, sausage, ice cream, drinks cold or warm. Very close to the pier / jetty / pier starfish. Ample parking, boat rentals / canoe / sail / pedal / and motor boats, civil prices, nice staff, kiosk SB, and tablet return itself. Queue / very full / long queuing and wait, with a bell when it's done. Coffee and cocoa / machine (ready), expensive, not so good. Otherwise, a good view and a view of the North Sea in Xanten / Wardt. In the middle of the forest, bad roads, good binding. A57 / AB 42 / etc. Hardly garbage, paper miscellaneous, nice environment / forest, invites you to hike / walk or with the passenger ship times a round turn, through the nature reserve and lock. New beach / beach bar something to rest / sailing / paddling / walk and relax.

A very good place to eat or coffee. Especially the location is beautiful when it's good for enjoying your coffee overlooking the lake.
